I am the author of the DAUGHTERS OF THE SEA trilogy, which includes FORSAKEN, AWAKEN, and CHOSEN (Winter 2012). I love all books, but really enjoy writing young adult, paranormal romances. I've loved to write for as long as I can remember. My first published work was my poem RED in second grade (you guessed it - it was a poem about the color red - life altering, I know) that won me 5 gold stars and a spot in my elementary school's poetry book. That's when my addiction to the written word officially began. I was the only kid in fifth grade that actually enjoyed diagramming sentences. Go ahead and laugh – it’s okay.
I am a southern belle at heart with a crazy streak that desperately tries to escape at every opportunity. I love all things nostalgic, rustic, and quirky. I've been told I see the world through rose-colored glasses, but I prefer to think of them as kaleidoscope glasses - swirling and morphing reality into something I can digest (who hasn't pretended those pasty lima beans were really kiwi strawberry jelly beans?).

According to the Prophecy proclaimed many years ago, Princess Calista of the Summer Court is destined to change the Land of the Fae from the evil determined to destroy it. Her powers are phenomenal, and she secretly trains for battle with her handsome warrior friend, Merrick, who unbeknownst to her protects her heart as well, in hopes of keeping it for himself. At least, until the seductive Prince Ryder attends the Guardian Ceremony and instantly sends a fire burning through her veins and a connection so deep they both discover a love above anything imaginable.
No one knows how Calista is destined to change the kingdoms, but there is one that does. He not only craves Calista’s power, but her body as well, and his goal is to steal her power, make her his Dark Queen, and take over the Land of the Fae.

Top Ten Things to do in the South

Since I live in the south these are the things I like to do:

1.     Drink sweet tea

2.     Read

3.     Play corn hole

4.     Explore Charleston
(my favorite place)

5.     Go swimming
(since the heat and humidity is horrific in the summer)

6.     Lay out in the sun

7.     Plant a garden

8.     Eat watermelon

9.     Go to Carowinds

10.  Go to the beach
L.P. Dover lives in the beautiful state of North Carolina with her husband and two wonderful daughters. She’s an avid reader that loves her collection of books. Writing has always been her passion and she’s delighted to share it with the world. L.P. Dover spent several years in college starting out with a major in Psychology and then switching to dental. She worked in the dental field for eight years and then decided to stay home with her two beautiful girls. She spent the beginning of her reading years indulging in suspense thrillers, but now she can't get away from the paranormal/fantasy books. Now that she has started on her passion and began writing, you will not see her go anywhere without a notebook, pen, and her secret energy builder….chocolate.
Forever Fae is an enjoyable read about the Fae.  From start to finish, I was wrapped up in Calista's life at the summer court.  With interesting traditions such as Calista's guardian having to fight other warriors to prove himself to the beauty of the ceremonies of love.
This is a tale of a prophecy and how things will come to be.  A tale of true love and following one's destiny.
Forever Fae is filled with action and suspense, keeping you glued to the pages, curious as to what will happen.  An electric love story that fills you with hope yet knowing that with every tale there is a sadness that will also come.
Calista and Ryder are great characters.  Dynamic and well developed, creating a story that you just don't want to put down.  If you enjoy the fae...the winter and summer courts with all their illustrious tales, then Forever Fae is a story that you will not want to miss out on.

Tabatha's been writing since she could pick up a pencil. Her first publication was a little poem in her elementary school paper, from that point on she was hooked. When she was a teenager, she traded in her girly magazines for personalized writing notebooks.

At nineteen, she met her own personal prince charming and writing took a back burner for a while. She's now married to that prince and the mother of a beautiful seven-year-old princess/rock star. Once her daughter was born, writing came back into her life, and she finished her very first novel, Wicked Fate, in May of 2009.

She's now pursuing her English degree and she hopes to one day teach while continuing to write.

BLOG TOUR: One Tiny Lie by K.A. Tucker

Welcome everyone!! Kathryn here and I am super excited to be a part of this tour!! There is no doubt the admiration and adoration that I have for K.A. Tucker has been shown on this blog and as you join me today to find out about One Tiny Lie, I hope you walk away with just as much intrigue and enthusiasm as I have....
So, lets get started...First, lets meet K.A. Tucker....

Born in small-town Ontario, Kathleen published her first book at the age of six with the help of her elementary school librarian and a box of crayons. She is a voracious reader and the farthest thing from a genre-snob, loving everything from High Fantasy to Chick Lit. Kathleen currently resides in a quaint small town outside of Toronto with her husband, two beautiful girls, and an exhausting brood of four-legged creatures.

Now that we have a little background info about K.A., Let's jump in to a some This or That questions to see if we can open up her vault with some juicy info...*claps hands together and begins questions*
Here we go...
Scary movies or romantic comedies?
Romantic comedies. My imagination is too wild for scary movies. I end up mistaking my husband for someone standing over my bed with a weapon, trying to kill me. It's not good for our marriage.
 Early bird or night owl?
Neither, though I think I may be morphing into a night owl. It only took 35 years.
Salty or sweet snacks?
I will eat all of your chocolate before you even realize I'm in your house.
Rock n Roll, country, or hip hop?
If I have to choose, Rock n Roll; however, I have favorites in all three categories. I love music, period.
Mountains or the beach?
Beach. Though, if you say, "hey, do you want to come visit me at my mountain chalet this weekend?" I wouldn't turn you down.
Date Night in or night out?
Out! Out! Out! Away from the tiny people!
On a guy, Tattoos or no tattoos?
Tats, but only a few. I like more skin than ink.
On a guy, Long or short hair?
Short. Doesn't have to be too short (I like the shaggy, messy look). But, if you could be mistaken for Fabio, keep walking.
Skinny jeans or baggy jeans?
Baggy. Skinny jeans on a guy is... just... no.
Plane or train?
Depends on where I'm going. If I'm travelling through Europe, then the slower and more scenic, the better. But if it's a regular trip, I'll take a plane. I'm impatient.
Sunny day or Rainy day?
Sunny day, because I have kids and rainy days turns kids into gremlins.
Fact: being locked in a house with gremlins is dangerous.
Facebook or Twitter?
Facebook. Twitter moves too fast and I tend to miss things.
On FB, you can actually carry on a conversation.
High heels or flats?
Heels if I'm going out. Flats in all other circumstances.
Sunrise or sunset?
Sunset (seeing a sunrise means I'm up too early or it's winter in Canada.
Neither is appealing)
Hugs or kisses?
Hugs. Unless it's my kids. Then, I smother them with both.
Paranormal or contemporary?
I reserve the right not to choose! In all honesty, I was not a fan of contemporary up until little over a year ago. I was all about the paranormal. Then, I started getting into the So edgy YA/NA type books and I fell in love.

AWESOME!!! So much fun getting that fabulous little peek in to the life of K.A. and thank you so much K.A. for answering my questions... :D
Ok...now...lets get on to the other part of this fantastic tour and that is introducing you to this AMAZING book...so, keep scrolling, read my review, check out the links, and of course....ENTER THE GIVEAWAY!!!!

Livie has always been the stable one of the two Cleary sisters, handling her parents' tragic death and Kacey's self-destructive phase with strength and maturity. But underneath that exterior is a little girl hanging onto the last words her father ever spoke to her. “Make me proud,” he had said. She promised she would...and she’s done her best over the past seven years with every choice, with every word, with every action.

Livie walks into Princeton with a solid plan, and she’s dead set on delivering on it: Rock her classes, set herself up for medical school, and meet a good, respectable guy that she’s going to someday marry. What isn’t part of her plan are Jell-O shots, a lovable, party animal roommate she can’t say ‘no’ to, and Ashton, the gorgeous captain of the men’s rowing team. Definitely him. He’s an arrogant ass who makes Livie’s usually non-existent temper flare and everything she doesn’t want in a guy. Worse, he’s best friends and roommates with Connor, who happens to fits Livie’s criteria perfectly. So why does she keep thinking about Ashton?

As Livie finds herself facing mediocre grades, career aspirations she no longer thinks she can handle, and feelings for Ashton that she shouldn’t have, she’s forced to let go of her last promise to her father and, with it, the only identity that she knows.

One Tiny Lie is one of those books that I was HIGHLY anticipating for this year.  I kept counting down the months, then days, and then it was here.  You know you are nervous because, yes, you have these expectations for this book...you are expecting it to blow you away...
So, I began right away the minute I received One Tiny Lie.  I squealed and did my happy dance!! And then I snuggled in to my reading spot and shut out the world.
And then the sad part came...*sighs* yes...I finished the book.  I completely devoured it in one sitting.  That's right, One Tiny Lie was that freaking good.  Truthfully, it was better than good...Great, AMAZING, PHENOMENAL...yeah...just a few words to throw out there to maybe encompass how much I LOOOOOVED this book.

I'm not going to lie...I was nervous because I loved Ten Tiny Breaths and was worried that I would be torn between these two books...but One Tiny Lie is nothing like Ten Tiny Breaths.  What I felt for TTB and OTL are completely different and the storylines themselves went in separate directions that each book gets their own praise.  I am so thankful for that...

So, now....how do I feel about One Tiny Lie????
I read it a week ago and each time I have tried to write the review, I feel like I can't express everything that I felt while reading One Tiny Lie.  But, I am going to try my best and hope that I convey how much OTL affected me.
Starting OTL with hearing how Livie is just too damn perfect and that that just isn't right, well, I knew right away this was going to be very interesting.  Watching Kacey try to "corrupt" her little sister to only bring her out of her shell was hilarious.  Livie's first party as a freshman on campus at Princeton??? Yeah, it was epic and one of those we all should experience...LOL!!
This sparks it all...All the events that come after revolve around what happened at this party and let me say...hold on...because you will just keep reading and reading til you find out exactly how it turns out.  And thank goodness the fab Dr. Staynor is around keeping tabs on Livie.  With his witty exercises and uncomfortable insights, he brings so much to this book.  He allows us to see things that maybe we wouldn't have.  That is exactly how it is for Livie, especially when it comes to Ashton.
Mmmmm.....Ashton.....Whew!!! This guy had me from the beginning right along with Livie. When she got pissed....I would also get pissed right along with her...BUT as we all know...There is always MORE than meets the eye and the journey we take with Livie shows us that.
This tale leads a young girl, who thought she had everything planned and figured out, off the beaten path to something that is more fulfilling and gratifying than she could have ever imagined.
K.A. Tucker is a brilliant, talented writer who captures me with such powerful, emotional, dynamic characters.  They crawl in to your heart and soul....forever embedded.  She evokes so much from you through her writing that when you are finished your heart is so filled with all kinds of emotions...you can feel it strumming through your whole body.  This is how I feel about One Tiny Lie.  It is a masterpiece, a true work of genius by someone who can elicit so much from you through her written word.
One Tiny Lie is filled with angst, humor, and of course romance, but it is a story that will speak to your heart, warm your soul, and forever possess your thoughts...

BLOG TOUR: In Too Deep by Michelle Kemper Brownlow

Long- Gracie has just finished her freshman year of college in Memphis when she takes a job at a local pizza joint in her home town of McKenzie, Tennessee. She is the epitome of innocence when she meets Noah. Noah is unabashedly handsome, intriguingly reckless and just cocky enough to be sexy. Gracie’s instincts tell her to stay far away from him and based on the stories she hears from her co-workers he leaves broken hearts in his wake. But still, she can’t explain her fascination with him.

Noah puts aside his bad boy ways when what he thought was a summer crush has him unexpectedly falling in love. But soon after Gracie transfers to UT Knoxville to be with Noah, their unexpected love becomes riddled with anger, deceit and humiliation.

Jake, Noah’s former roommate and Gracie’s best friend, can no longer be a bystander. Gracie’s world falls out from beneath her and when she breaks she turns to Jake for strength. As Jake talks her through a decision she’s not yet strong enough to make, together they uncover a truth so ugly neither of them is prepared for its fallout. Will Jake pull her to the surface or is Gracie Jordan finally In Too Deep?

Michelle Kemper Brownlow has been a storyteller her entire life. Her debut was on the high school cheerleading bus granting requests to re-tell her most embarrassing moments for a gaggle of hysterical squadmates.

Earning her Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Art Education and then marrying her very own “Jake,” she moved to Binghamton, NY where she taught high school. After having two children she quit work and finished her Master’s degree in Elementary Education at Binghamton University.

The Brownlow family of four moved to Michelle’s hometown of Morgantown, PA while the children were still quite young. A few years after moving, her family grew by one when they welcomed a baby into their home through the gift of adoption. The family still resides in PA, just miles from where that high school cheer bus was parked.

Michelle has been an artist for as long as she can remember, always choosing pencils and crayons over toys and puzzles. As a freelance illustrator, her simple characters play the starring roles in numerous emergent reader books published by Reading Reading Books.

“Writing is my way of making sense of the world. When I give my characters life on the pages I write, it frees up space in my mind to welcome in new stories that are begging to be told,” says Brownlow
Well, the whole time reading In Too Deep, I kept wondering where this was going to go.  The way the story flowed I was very unsure of things until the last 20% of the book.
I was torn almost all the way through the book and that is somewhat unusual for me. I usually make up my mind about things and don't waiver.  But you find yourself immersed in to Gracie's life and feeling everything she is experiencing.
From the beginning of her relationship with Noah and hearing her tell piece by piece of how it was magical, electric; you can't help but root for the relationship to find its way back to that.  I'm not going to lie....I was hoping right along with Gracie that he would change; be the man she deserved. I would also be screaming at her, wanting to shake some sense in to her...*shakes head*...I believe I was as messed up in the head as she was.
Something that I truly loved in this book was seeing Gracie go from point A in her life to point B.  Even though this book revolves around a broken relationship, there is so much more here than that.  We see Gracie blossom in to someone that she can be proud of.  It is a journey of self-discovery, especially when she thought she had lost who she was.  It was a story that showed a good support system with a good family, best friends who were always there for you...which I think ultimately defined this whole tale.
Gracie's best friend, Jake...also former roommate to Noah...was the rock that Gracie needed through all her struggles, battles.  The relationship these two had was pure, honest, and loyal.  You could see how much they cared for each other.  It was absolutely beautiful.  I don't want to give any more info here...Could spoil some things...*wink, wink*
Anyway, In Too Deep had me glued to the pages, eager to see how everything would turn out.  It carries you through so many emotions, feeling everything Gracie is going through.  I will say that I was a little disappointed in how the book ended.  It was sort of abrupt for me.  But, it did provide you with the answers you were looking for.
Michelle Kemper Brownlow did a fantastic job providing insight in to a life of a good girl who fell for the bad boy, hoping for him to change, yet finding out that she is the one that actually changed.

 TOUR SCHEDULE

The Devil's Triangle by Toni de Palma

When 17 year old Cooper dies in an attempt to burn down his school, he finds himself in the afterlife. Lucy, the Devil's sister who has crossed party lines, decides to give Cooper another shot at heaven. The deal? Cooper returns to Earth and has to find a girl named Grace. The rest is up to him.

While Cooper figures out his mission, he's thrown into the life he's always wanted. Great parents, a spot on the Varsity football team and a real future are all within reach. But what he really wants is Grace, a feisty girl with an abusive boyfriend who can pound Cooper into pulp if he doesn't watch out.

While Lucy plays demonic-puppeteer, clues to an unknown past between Cooper and Grace start to unravel. Cooper discovers that what's keeping him and Grace apart is far more sinister than anything this bad boy could have ever imagined.

Who am I? Well, let's start with who I am NOT. I am Not tall. I am Not a genius. And though a lot of people have assumed I was, I was never, ever a cheerleader in high school. Actually, I was a klutz, a nerd and kind of quiet when I was in high school. I am still a klutz, a much better listener than I am a talker (though my husband would probably disagree with that) and still a nerd (and very proud of that thank you!)
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and when I was a kid I loved to wander the streets with my best friend John. We'd disappear for the whole day, returning conveniently when it was time for dinner. During the summer, I'd dance in the spray of the johnny pump (the fire hydrant). Some summers I'd spend in Ischia, the Italian island where my dad was from.
I have always loved to travel and wander. My most valued possession is my passport. I love to write stories that take me and my readers places and of course I love traveling places to do the research for my books (can you say write offs!). I write Middle Grade and YA both contemporary and paranormal romance but I like to read everything and discover new and unusual books.

I want to begin by thanking Toni De Palma and her wonderful publicist, Christine Attardo for offering an arc of The Devil's Triangle and for inviting us to be a part of Toni's blog tour.
Well, I wasn't really sure what to expect from this story. A male protagonist? The tale all from his POV? I was definitely interested and more than a little curious how this teenage boy was going to handle his opportunity to make it into Heaven after a less than stellar performance in his past life.
I easily fell into Cooper's story. Cooper himself was likeable, funny and determined. Granted for a good portion of his "mission" he is lost, confused and completely unaware of what that mission entails and how it would actually get him past the pearly gates. He knew he had a second chance and he was going to do everything he could to make it happen.
His previous life was dark and lonely, constantly moving from home to home, searching for something he couldn't find; a good family, love and respect. When he hits earth again to find the girl he must attempt to save, it's clear pretty quickly that some things are not as they seemed. And when he finds Grace, he also finds himself thrown into a life he never dreamed he could have or deserve. What he learns boggles his mind and makes him more determined than ever to redeem himself.
I loved the twists and turns this story took Cooper and I on. Discovering the truth about his life, Grace, and the role Lucifer and his wacky but beautiful sister, Lucy(Lucinda) played in the how things turned out for Cooper--- what a tangled web. It was clever, thought provoking and entertaining. You find out early there are no small parts in this tale. Everyone has a purpose in the warped battle over Grace's soul. You also see how philosophy, history and strategy play a big part in Lucy and Lucifer's game.
Cooper immediately grabbed my heart and sympathy. Not knowing what was real or manipulation, he struggled to do what was right, listening to his heart and what he believed to be Lucy's guidance, he went in full force to save himself, his family and Grace. No matter what was thrown at him, he didn't give in or give up. He had something to fight for and he was unyielding in his effort to find solutions for everyone he discovered he cared about.
What transpires is a story of enlightenment and self discovery. Both Cooper and Grace have to learn what to sacrifice and what to hold on to. Cooper finds he's lost most than he more than he knew and he'll fight to get it all back.
I really enjoyed The Devil's Triangle. I liked the characters, especially Cooper's family. And of course Cooper and Grace. I liked Toni's style. She weaved a complicated tale into something easy to read and connect to, and characters that were easy to love and root for. She made me contemplate life, and how the choices we make can affect more than ourselves, and the possibility that we don't always control our path. Pretty deep stuff. She also manages to make it lighthearted and fun. A thoroughly enjoyable read.
Of course she leaves us hanging, wondering what will come of Cooper and Grace... will their love find a way? Will Lucifer continue his campaign to own Grace and shatter Cooper's existence? I resisted the urge to read the sneak peek of book two, The Devil's Temptation, but I'm eager to see what happens next. I can already see Lucifer is pulling out all the stops for the next round and I'll be standing in Cooper's corner, encouraging and cheering him on.
So, if you're looking for something a bit different from your usual YA paranormal romance, I think The Devil's Triangle might be just what you're looking for. It's got a little something for everyone, and a surprise around every corner. You like surprises, right? ;)

COVER REVEAL: A Little Too Far by Lisa Desrochers

Have you ever gone just a little too far?

Lexie Banks has.
Yep. She just had mind-blowing sex with her stepbrother. In her defense, she was on the rebound, and it’s more of a my-dad-happened-to-marry-a-woman-with-a-super-hot-son situation. But still, he’s been her best friend and confidant for better part of the last few years…and is so off limits. It’s a good thing she’s leaving in two days for a year abroad in Rome. But even thousands of miles away, Lexie can’t seem to escape trouble. Raised Catholic, she goes to Confession in hopes of alleviating some of her guilt…and maybe not burning in hell. Instead, she stumbles out of the confessional right into Alessandro Moretti, a young and very easy on the eyes deacon…only eight months away from becoming a priest. As Lexie and Alessandro grow closer, and when Alessandro’s signals start changing despite his vow of celibacy, she doesn’t know what to think. She’s torn between falling in love with the man she shouldn’t want and the man she can’t have. And she isn’t sure how she can live with herself either way.
